The University of Minnesota Plant Education Group (PlantEd) does this through science-based outreach programming and research-focused educational opportunities for teachers and students creating future leaders in plant sciences. It also brings people closer to plant science research by making the information accessible and useful for those who care about plants, food and the environment through communications efforts.
